  • UT Block & Bridle 4-H/FFA Livestock Judging Contest

    • When: March 6, 2021​

    • Where: Brehm Animal Science Arena, Knoxville, TN

    • What: An in-person multi-species livestock judging contest open to 4th through 12th grade 4-H and FFA livestock judging teams. Reasons for seniors and questions for junior/junior high. The contest is limited to the first 24 teams and only one team per FFA chapter/ 4-H club.

  • Nufarm Grassmanship Scholarship

    • What: ​The Nufarm Grassmanship Scholarship, offered by Nufarm Americas Inc. (Nufarm), was created to provide to help individuals with a passion for agricultural or pasture management excel academically and civically. Up to five scholarships will be awarded to five unique, eligible applicants: one $5,000 scholarship and four $1,000 scholarships. Nufarm will select the scholarship recipients based on the overall strength of their application, application essays, and finalist interview.

  • Tennessee River Ag Expo (TRAE) Scholarship

    • What: The Tennessee River Ag Expo (TRAE) is offering one $500 scholarship to a former participant.​

  • Cattle Industry Convention Internship

    • When: August 8-14, 2021​

    • What: Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show interns are vital to the success of the largest annual meeting in the U.S. beef cattle industry. Our intern positions provide a unique opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience and to interact with leaders from every segment of the cattle and beef industry. It truly is a one-of-a-kind opportunity.

  • American Angus Assoc. Regional Manager Internship

    • When: Fall 2021​

    • What: The 13 regional managers of the American Angus Association® are the boots-on-the-ground Angus experts who wear many hats. This fall, the American Angus Association’s field services team is excited to offer the new 2021 Regional Manager Internship, which is designed to enhance a student’s ability to build effective relationships, craft a promotional strategy and learn about the Angus business and cattle industry. The 9-week, full-time internship begins in August and lasts until December and will be based at the American Angus Association headquarters in St. Joseph, Mo., with numerous opportunities to travel to different regions of the country.
