  • Collegiate Beef Advocacy Program

    • When: 2021​

    • What: ANCW's Collegiate Beef Advocacy Program was created for beef industry advocates interested in bridging the gap between the farm and the fork. This program connects the Collegiate leaders to the beef industry where they can have unlimited access to leadership, their peers, cattlemen and cattlewomen, and beef industry professionals. They will grow as individuals, strengthen their leadership skills, and establish networks.

  • Farm Credit Mid-America Scholarship Program

    • What: Farm Credit Mid-America’s scholarship program has contributed $1.4 million in support to nearly 450 students. Applications are being accepted for the Customer Ag Scholarship and the Farm Credit Scholars program.

  • Tennessee Governor's School for the Agricultural Sciences

    • When: May 29 - June 25, 2021

    • What: TGSAS is a four-week college experience for rising high school juniors and seniors. Scholars are exposed to various aspects of agriculture and natural resources both in the classroom and through opportunities for hands-on learning both on and off-campus at the University of Tennessee Martin. Classes are taught by the Department of Agriculture, Geosciences, and Natural Resources (AGN) faculty. Scholars take one college credit class (3 hours) and select a Group Study Project (GSP) including possible choices of Precision Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Natural Resources Management, or Agricultural Business.

  • Angus Internship Applications

    • When: Summer 2021

    • What: Applications are now open for college-age students to apply for the American Angus Association®, Angus Journal ®, and Angus Genetics Inc. (AGI) 2021 summer internships. These 10-week internship programs provide a unique hands-on experience that will both challenge and instill confidence both professionally and personally.

  • Cattle Industry Convention Internship

    • When: August 8-14, 2021​

    • What: Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show interns are vital to the success of the largest annual meeting in the U.S. beef cattle industry. Our intern positions provide a unique opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience and to interact with leaders from every segment of the cattle and beef industry. It truly is a one-of-a-kind opportunity.
