Q: Describe your operation.
A:Single cattle operation wanting to expand into raising more club cattle.
Q: What have you enjoyed most about growing up on the farm?
A:The most enjoyable thing about growing up on the farm has being able to teach the youth about my passion for livestock.
Q: Who has been your biggest role model in pursuing your farming aspirations?
A:My grandfather has been my biggest role model in pursuing my farming aspiration. Sadly, we lost him in October so I dedicated this show season to him!
Q: What are you most passionate about in your business?
A:I am most passionate about raising high quality animals to give back to future of the industry.
Q: What are some of the greatest challenges that you face as a young farmer?
A:The greatest challenge I have faced as a young farmer is trying to compete with registered, purebred cattle with a club calf operation.
Q: Where do you see yourself and your operation in 10 years?
A:I see myself and my operation in 10 years raising high quality show steers.
Q: How will you continue to improve and grow your operation?
A:I will continue to improve and grow my operation by gaining knowledge from other breeders in the industry.
Q: How do you intend to leave your footprint on the beef industry in Tennessee?
A:I intend to leave my footprint on the beef industry in Tennessee by bringing clubby style cattle into the Tennessee youth show circuit.
Q: What could the existing farmers do most to help future farmers such as yourself?
A:Existing farmers should give back to youth programs such as 4-H and FFA to help future farmers such as myself.
Q: What is your favorite beef dish?
A:Cheeseburgers are my favorite beef dish.
