Tennessee was well represented in Washington, D.C. during the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's (NCBA) Legislative Conference at the end of April. TCA's executive vice president, Charles Hord, led the group which included TCA's president, Dustin Pearson, TCA's president-elect, Gary Dering, NCBA's past-president, Jennifer Houston, and NCBA Resolutions Committee Chair, Linda Barnes. While in D.C., the group spoke to elected officials about the cattle industries concerns including the black vulture attacks, fake meat regulations, tax regulations, and more. The group visited with both Tennessee Senators, and eight out of nine Tennessee Congressmen.
