Tennessee Cattlemen's Association
Outstanding Youth Award

The Outstanding Youth Award competition is designed to recognize a junior (ages 12-16) and senior (ages 17-21) member of the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Youth Association (TCYA) for their involvement in the cattle and agriculture industries, leadership, and community service. Participants will be judged based on the magnitude of their involvement and accomplishments in the cattle industry and agriculture, leadership involvement and participation in cattle/agriculture-related groups, and participation in their communities for the previous year. The Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association will administer the program and choose a panel of judges to review the applications and select the winners.

The Junior winner receives a trophy buckle and a $250 cash prize, and the Senior winner gets a trophy buckle and $1000 cash prize. Thank you to Oakdale Farms (Luke Teeple & Family) for sponsoring this award!

Applications will be accepted via GoogleForms, mail-in, or email. Applications must be received (or postmarked if mailing) by December 1, 2022. Please direct any questions to the Director of Youth Programs & Outreach, Melinda Perkins, at melinda@tncattle.org.
