Youth Beef Heifer Initiative Scholarship
The Youth Beef Heifer Initiative Scholarship is sponsored by Farm Credit Mid America and the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association. The Heifer Initiative program provides youth in TN with a scholarship to purchase a beef heifer to show or begin their own herd. TCA and FCMA partner to provide a total of six scholarships totaling $9,000. Applications are due December 1st each year.
Kenneth Ambrose Memorial Scholarship
Applications are accepted for youth interested in the beef business to own a registered Simmental or SimAngus heifer. Contact Chris Martin with questions: or

TCA College Scholarships
Scholarship Overview: The Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association will award three scholarships of $600 to outstanding students who are pursuing careers in the beef industry. Additionally, the Tennessee CattleWomen’s Association will award a $600 scholarship to a deserving recipient. The purpose of this program is to identify and encourage talented and thoughtful students who will emerge as industry leaders. The application period for educational scholarships has closed. Check back in Spring 2022 for next year's application.
